Identity Verification Privacy Policy
1. What We Collect
When you complete age verification, we collect:
- Photo of your government-issued ID
- Live selfie photograph
- Facial geometry measurements for comparison
- Email address
- Date of birth from your ID
2. How We Use It
Identity Verification: We compare your selfie to your ID photo to confirm you are the person pictured on the ID.
Age Verification: Your age is determined by the date of birth on your ID, as reviewed by our staff. We do NOT use facial analysis to estimate age.
3. How We Protect It
- All images encrypted with AES-256
- Transmitted over secure HTTPS
- Stored on Amazon S3 with encryption
- Access limited to authorized staff only
- No permanent face database created
4. How Long We Keep It
Retention Period: 30 days after verification
Automatic Deletion: All data automatically deleted 30 days after your verification decision.
5. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Deletion: Request immediate deletion
- Opt-out: Decline verification (cannot participate without it)
